This trip was last minute, and after getting all that can fit in one carry one. that is my motto- carry one bag.  Greece or Hellas is another vital trip destination, while many of  structures are not as preserved as one might find in Italy, they are still speak loudly.  The Antikythera mechanism, the photos are below of what looks like clogs from a clock. this device over 2000 years old was a computing machine, and was discovered in the early part of the 20th century.  Originally thought to be of modern origin these discoveries point to a past that we know so little about. The countless destruction of writings, and machines that might have changed the course of history. History is evolution in action.
