Al-Haram al-Sharif

This space can fill over 5000 people every friday, and when I visited there was hardly 20 people in it, so you could see the entire space full with carpet. They say it was originally a church then converted to a mosque, rebuilt again and again and you can see the reuse of roman columns as well as the use of roman arches through out.
